CCR……Creedence Clear Water Revival.

This song has some “Hammer Ons”.    Hammer On is a technique where you pick the string and then “hammer” your finger tip down on the string to produce a second note at another fret.    Pick the 4th string open and then hammer your fingertip down on the 4th string at the 2nd fret.   You only pick the string once but you get two notes.     This would be written   ( 0 h 2 ).     There is also a string “bend” at the end of this lick.    Hold the 6th string down at the 3rd fret and pick it, then stretch the string down.    Aw come on, stretch it a little more than that………whoa not that far, you don’t want to break the string.   OK, this will be written (  3 b ).
